Julie Woods-Moss is the Chief Marketing Officer at Thoughtworks, a global technology consultancy, where she serves on the Executive Committee. She brings over two decades of experience in senior roles across the technology, telecom, and media sectors, including leadership positions at IBM, BT, Liberty Media, and Tata Communications.
Since joining Thoughtworks, Julie has strengthened the company’s global brand and helped drive business growth. She has led the transformation of Thoughtworks’ marketing and digital capabilities, built a scalable demand generation engine, and enhanced the company’s reputation as a leading employer and technology partner. Her leadership has supported Thoughtworks' expansion into new markets and contributed to growth in both revenue and client relationships.
Before Thoughtworks, Julie held roles as CMO, Chief Innovation Officer, and CEO of the NextGen business unit at Tata Communications, where she led innovation programs and built partnerships with global tech companies. She also served on the Tata Group Brand Advisory Board and worked with startups and academic institutions.
Julie is currently Chair of the Board at dunnhumby, where she focuses on commercial strategy and operational performance, and a Non-Executive Director for the Grosvenor Liverpool Fund Board, advising on digital and retail transformation. She has previously advised firms such as McKinsey & Company and Agent3 on digital marketing and strategy.
Throughout her career, Julie has been recognised for her work at the intersection of marketing and technology, including being named in Forbes’ list of top global CMOs and Inspiring Fifty’s list of UK women in tech.
