The B2B Marketing Awards have a fair, transparent and rigorous two-stage judging process. Our judges are B2B experts, with extensive experience in the industry, meaning that they each bring a diverse range of in-depth marketing knowledge to the process.

The Judging Process

1. Submission review

Once entries have closed, our judging panel will review all entries online and select a shortlist of finalists in each category. Using our confidential online judging platform, entries are scored, and the top performing submissions are put forward to the shortlist.

2. In-person judging

After the shortlist has been announced, we bring together a second panel of judges, made up of independent client-side marketers and industry experts, who meet in-person for the judging day. The judges review and score each of the submissions on the shortlist. This process is held in private with only the judges in attendance to ensure confidentiality.


The judges use a scoring system to evaluate each submission, based on a set of criteria that are specific to each category. Our judges are looking for evidence of innovation, impact, creativity and effectiveness in each submission.
