Scott Anderson is the Vice President of Customer Success Marketing at Lumen Technologies. He is responsible for supporting Lumen’s Customer Success organization with its overall goal of driving positive customer business outcomes with Lumen’s technology solutions. Scott also leads the technology and voice overlay teams for media and entertainment and the hyper-scaler segments. With 25 years of experience in the technology industry, leading sales, marketing and business-development teams across various North American and European markets, Scott Anderson has extensive expertise and a record of success in delivering innovative solutions and standout results.
Prior to his current role, Scott held various operational & engineering roles within Architecture and Engineering in the Media & Entertainment segment at Level 3 Communications. In 2008, he served as the program lead for the Democratic National Convention in Denver, where Level 3 successfully streamed HD quality, an industry first. He supported other notable events including the Royal Wedding and the 2012 London Olympics. Scott later developed and launched the broadcast services used among global broadcasters and in many of the stadiums in North America. His tenure at Level 3 Communication also included leading the strategic network expansion organization across the EMEA business, where he built out metro fiber networks, in addition to new country presences in Eastern Europe, Middle East and Africa.
After returning to the US in 2013, Scott led Vertical Marketing and later became a General Manager, responsible for the South Florida Market. As GM, he increased Sales by 37% in year 1 and achieved the highest revenue growth across GMs during his tenure. In 2018, Scott returned to Broomfield to lead Marketing for Global Account Division, and then Customer Success.
