I deliver insight, innovation and impact through a scientific understanding of human behaviour.
Over the last 20 years I've been lucky enough to work with inspirational teams across sectors, disciplines and geographies. Now, as an itinerant practitioner, I prioritise projects that are interesting or important... but ideally both.
I specialise in delivering practical, actionable behavioural insights using a wide range of research methods, from traditional surveys and qualitative inquiry, to advanced predictive modelling and systems simulation.
My work is inherently multi-disciplinary and I've designed interventions with a vast range of collaborators, including designers, advertising creatives, market researchers, media strategists, product designers and directly with business owners and leaders.
In 2014, I launched one of the UK’s first specialist behavioural insights consultancies, successfully growing and selling what became an award-winning business in 2019.
I recently established a Behavioural Science unit at Burson – the world’s largest PR comms agency. I built an in-house practice, developed the agency’s proprietary behaviour change framework and worked with global teams to embed behavioural science into day-to-day practice.
Outside my core practice, I served three years as a NED for global educational charity and awards organisation D&AD, championing the use of behavioural science within the advertising and design industries.
Over the years, my work has earned recognition from bodies such as D&AD, The Institute of Practitioners of Advertising (IPA), the Design Business Association (DBA), Cannes Lions, and the German Design Council.
As a peer-reviewed author and experienced speaker, I have delivered thought leadership presentations at conferences and events worldwide.
