James Meyers founded Imagination, a Chicago-based content marketing agency in 1994. The agency was named one of the Most Creative Content Agencies in the World as well as the Content Marketing Agency of the Year by the Content Marketing Institute.

James is the author of the book “Becoming Essential,” a guide to how organizations and associations can become essential and thrive. In 2019, he was presented with the Association Media & Publishing Lifetime Achievement Award.

Imagination joined The Mx Group last year forming the Content Marketing Practice at Mx.
