I am an ex-pilot (RAF & British Airways), but have worked within marketing (both agency and client-side), for 30 years – including founding, running and exiting a raft of my own creative agencies (four) – as well as being heavily involved with the Data & Marketing Association (DMA) throughout that time.

Latterly, I trained as a Coach, and now also operate as a Life Coach and Business Mentor – with my own consultancy, and within other platforms (Wiseup, All Together) – and have held several non-executive positions over the years.

I am also proud to give back in areas I am passionate about, having held the positions of Trustee for the Graeme Robertson Trust, and Business Ambassador for the School of Hard Knocks Charity… providing pathways for young people in Marketing and Sport, respectively.

I am the founder of Growth Marketing Consultancy UK, which enables me to spread the word about the benefits of a Growth Mindset attitude to create effective Growth Marketing – marrying my Marketing experience and Coaching passion.

Also, recently, I co-founded ‘DadsGross’, a not-for-profit with the mission to normalise (and, therefore, positively affect) attitudes to male health.

And – just for perverse satisfaction – I enjoy the scant rewards of being a published singer-songwriter.
